• (2023-07-29) Stephan Knotek: This extension is a GAME CHANGER. I absolutely love it. It makes getting icons for my Stream Deck SO much easier. I just have one suggestion: I noticed that you can't currently set the size of an image unless you click the 3 dot button to access the options for the image, but you can only save it as an SVG from that menu. I personally use PNG's more than SVGs but I wish I could change the size and then save it as a PNG. I appreciate that I can save as a PNG using the format option on the left and then Download Selected, but that saves the image as-is and doesn't allow me to change the size. I'm not sure if this is just a limitation of the format or if this is something that could be updated in the future. That's the only improvement I can think of, otherwise this extension is perfect! Great job developers! I really appreciate the ease of use, and the UI is intuitive and easy to understand.

• (2023-07-17) MK: Plugin is ok and giving list of available SVGs in a web page. But I am giving only 3 start for 2 things, 1. There are no details how to use this (for this we have to keep the extension pinned or need to open from the extensions list, then need to click it. then only this will provide the list of images available). 2. It is able to read only unrestricted websites. if any website is restricted and even we click on the plugin nothing will popup for us. when we right click then only we can see unable to read content option grayed out.

It's doing so even if you enter url directly into address bar. This is very suspicious and dangerous behavior. I highly suggest all the users to be very very careful. It's good idea to have extension disabled and enable it only if you need to get svg icons.

I suggest adding a feature to it, and that is: After selecting the icons and pressing the export button in the zip format, the name of the exported file should be formed according to the name of the site from which the icons were extracted. for example : svgex-yahoo-com.zip By doing this, it is determined from which site each icon pack was extracted

• (2022-06-24) Roman Alekseenko: Couldn't find a way to download upscaled PNG. After increasing width and height the resulting PNG and SVG simply have more empty space. The shape itself still has the same resolution.
• (2022-06-13) Michael Whitlock: Absolutely perfect design and ease of use and functionality. Needed a logo from a client's logo quickly for a design, but was without access to the proper file while away. I found that the client's logo on the website was a .svg, but using Chrome's developer inspector and other online tools I had been unable to download it in a way that was uable by Illustrator. This Chrome extension solved the problem instantaneously and was much easier than what I was trying to do. At that, this extension's download of the .svg was usable by Illustrator. Thanks, you all for making this extension.

  Can you enable the SVG export on the https://discord.com/app web app? Wanted to make a Discord UX redesign, and if I could grab their icon set by your tool, it would be very helpful. Feature suggestion : Lastly, if the SVG grabbing process of your extension has failed because the web app prevented you from doing it or something, at least launch the SVG Export on the new tab, & show an error message. We endlessly clicking it, reloading & hoping the said webpage is not a great experience. Or on that error message, give us like a contact form or a bug report submission at bottom, when the SVG Export app is not working. So we can report that not working webpage, in hopes that your web extensions fixes it and support it in the future update. Thanks, and please support Discord web app SVG export very soon.

  I love the new UI and redesign. But there's some sites where clicking the SVG Export extension icon doesn't launch the extension itself. For example on messages.google.com. I want to get the Google Messages logo in SVG, but the web app doesn't open at all. No matter how many times I click it or wait. This is a common bug on some sites or scenarios? Any fixes on this? No permission to get the SVG perhaps? Can you fix it? I suggest that you make a better extension icon by the way, something that's more colorful, and will be appropriate for Dark / Light mode UI of Chrome. Thanks, keep doing what you do

  I run the extension and can see plenty of SVGs on the drop down menu, but I can't download any of the files -- either individually or by clicking the button to export all. What's weird is the extension worked for one day for me, but no longer does. Restarting my web browser and/or computer doesn't fix it. It doesn't seem to matter what website I visit either.

  Try loging in in notion.so use and sign up on the app. And try to extract SVGs there, tell why it doesn't download anything. Even on rasterized PNGs? Why?

  Hi. I love your work on this. But can you support SVG Paths too in the HTML? Or do you already support it? Because I'm pretty sure it doesn't pick up other assets too. Also I hope you can add scanning feature to scan for more assets that is hided like on page frames (e.g. in website apps, wheres there's so many dialogs, pages, frames in one website), interaction events (e.g. this SVG will only be present when you mouse hover to it) So we don't have to time it every single time. And if your extension really scans, please add a loader circle to indicate that is it scanning and loading SVGs to export. See the Discord web app (login and launch it inside the browser) and try your extension for yourself in that page. You'll see it misses so many icons I hope you'll be able to implement and reply to this as soon as possible
