Australian Patience is a captivating and challenging solitaire game that you can now enjoy offline as a Chrome extension, completely free!
Objective
Your ultimate goal is to move all the cards to the four foundation piles, which must be built up in suit from Ace to King. For example, you need to sequence the cards from Ace to King for each suit, such as Ace of Clubs, 2 of Clubs, 3 of Clubs, and so on, until you reach the King of Clubs.
Setup
The game starts with seven columns in the tableau, each containing four face-up cards. The remaining 24 cards are placed in the stock pile. The foundations are empty at the beginning and are located at the top right of the game area.
Gameplay
- Tableau: Cards in the tableau are built down in the same suit. For instance, a 6 of Diamonds can only be placed on a 7 of Diamonds. You can move any number of cards in sequence to another column as long as the build rule is followed. Empty columns can be filled with Kings or a group of cards headed by a King.
- Stock and Waste: Cards from the stock pile are flipped one at a time to the waste pile. Only the top card in the waste pile is playable. You can move this card to either a column or a foundation pile. In the standard version of Australian Patience, you have only one pass through the stock, but in Easy Australian Patience, you get two passes, making it slightly easier to win.
- Foundations: The four foundation piles must be built up in suit from Ace to King. You can move cards to the foundations from either the bottom of a tableau pile or from the waste pile.
