DTB - Daily Tool Box

DTB turns every new tab into a developer’s daily tool box.

No more hunting for random online converters that upload your data to who-knows-where. Open a new tab and your most-used dev tools are one click away — running entirely in your browser, offline, with nothing sent to any server.

WHAT’S INSIDE

• Recent Tabs — search your recently closed tabs and reopen any of them in one click.
• Base64 — encode and decode text, UTF-8 safe (emoji, accents, CJK all work). URL-safe mode, live conversion, copy / clear / swap.
• JSON — format, minify, and validate. Invalid JSON is flagged with the exact line and column.
• JWT — decode a token’s header and payload, see iat / exp / nbf as human dates and expiry status, and verify HS256/384/512 signatures with your secret.
• Hash — MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, and SHA-512 digests computed live, with an uppercase toggle and one-click copy.
• Timestamp — the current Unix time (live), plus two-way conversion between epoch and human dates with automatic seconds / milliseconds detection.

DTB is built as a “tool factory,” so more tools are added over time.

PERMISSIONS

DTB uses two permissions: “tabs,” so the toolbar button (and the Recent Tabs tool) can open pages in a new tab, and “sessions,” so the Recent Tabs tool can list your recently closed tabs. It requests no host permissions, sends nothing to any server, and includes no tracking or analytics — everything stays on your device.
