BibTeX entry from URL
Description from store

A simple chrome extension that creates a BibTeX entry for the URL in the current tab.
Supports @misc and @online entries.

Tab's title and URL are automatically copied to be used in your LaTeX documents.

"Accessed on" field (resp. "urldate" for @online entries) is optional

Author, year and month info need to be filled-in manually, and can optionally be omitted.

Add
\usepackage{hyperref}

in your LaTeX document for the extension to work properly.

Example of use:

For http://developer.chrome.com/extensions/packaging.html we get:

@misc{Packa3:Online,
author = {},
title = {Packaging - Google Chrome},
howpublished = {\url{https://developer.chrome.com/extensions/packaging}},
month = {},
year = {},
note = {(Accessed on 06/07/2014)}
}

Amazing work, thanks a lot, I really needed it. It would be nice to provide a feature that brings both sides to the same text. so that I dont have to scroll from the other side again.

Does not grab author or date published, sets class to misc regardless. Just sets title and url. Meh.

Wanted to like it, but still need to do lots of information filling myself, like the Author(s) and publishing date. Nowadays most news and blog sites should have correct tags ready for this plugin to read, but it doesn't seem to do that. Take this URL: https://www.pcgamer.com/why-are-game-install-sizes-getting-so-big/ The `type="application/ld+json"` script contains ALL information, but is not used?

Very useful - Would be great to have an option to remove the \url{...} from the "howpublished" field.

Excellent! No frills, does the job! Future Work: a nice to have is to parse the author field. For instance looking for "mailto" hyperlinks, first names, text prefixed with prepositions like "by" :)

While it doesn't pull a whole lot of data, it gets the basics and is very fast. Copies straight to the clipboard.

does what it promises. please add a way to contact the developer/give feedback. also, please include a `urldate = "10.10.2013"` field to the generated citation.
