Description from store A simple and lightweight extension that adds an icon which allows the YouTube video player to fill the entire page, as a full browser player. Other NEW Features (Premium Sub required, $5 AUD per year): - Auto-toggle windowed fullscreen - Allow scrolling while windowed fullscreen mode - Miniplayer while scrolling NOTE: PLEASE RESTART CHROME OR REFRESH YOUTUBE IF IT DOESNT WORK AFTER INSTALLING. Configure options by either clicking the icon in your browser, or head to chrome://extensions and click on Details for Youtube Windowed FullScreen and click the "Extension Options". Please note some Shortcut Keys may not work correctly as YouTube, or your system may block them. Most keys should work if they are not reserved. While in fullscreen mode, mouse over where the search bar usually is for it to appear; it will also appear while scrolling. We're Moving to a Freemium Model, and why: I never thought I would have to make this decision, and I want to apologize for the change. Unfortunately, with the current economic situation and after recently losing my job, I need a source of income to keep this extension running and up-to-date. Maintaining the extension, especially with the frequent changes to YouTube's layout, requires significant time and effort. Please add something that resets it to normal view. [FEATURE]: Allow scrolling down like you can with YT's native FS feature. [FEATURE]: Custom FS dimensions/modes. One I want, is where it expands height entirely to whole pages dimension (maybe an option to not hide top toolbar if people want that - or have a dynamic one where hovering mouse on the top, drops it down). And have width expand to the left edge entirely, but the right side only expands enough to show the thumbnails of the suggested videos. If I could increase my star rating I would. I was using "Better YouTube Theatre Mode" but a recent Chrome update seems to have made it not work. (2023-08-01) Ádám Török: It is not a windowed full screen. It's gives back the same size of player plus a black bar on the top and bottom. So basically no reason to use it. The only reason iff you want those black bars.

(2023-03-17) Jeppe Jepsen: Works well, only think i wish is it would show the title of the video when moving the mouse - the same behaviour as when replacing /watch?= with /embed/ on any video. It makes it difficult to find the right video when having opened many tabs.

Sometimes it even happens multiple times per day. I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling the extension but no effect.

(2022-04-20) Braden: I have loved this extension since it's debut, but it is currently giving me a slight issue. When in use, it is cropping the top and bottom of the video player out of the boundary of the browser screen. I dont know if there's a fix for this, but it renders the extension slightly useless, since it is cropping part of the viewer and, subsequently, the video.

(2021-11-14) No Way: This app is buggy as ****. Half (maybe more) the time the button expand the video to window size doesn't show up and you have to expand the YouTube video to full screen and then hope it shows up so you can reduce it to window size and sometimes doesn't even show up then. It's one of the more frustrating extensions that I've ever used.
