Description from store
Legrooms for Google Flights displays legrooms, carry-on restrictions and amenities alongside Google Flight search results for easy comparison.
About permission: Legrooms for Google Flights modifies displayed content on Google Flight website, and needs permission over www.google.com/flights. However, the permission notice dialog only mention www.google.com (omitting /flights).
When browsing for flights, we get a listing by cost, schedule and duration. For travelers who value comfort, comparing seat legroom takes more work. Google Flight has the information available after you selected a segment in the itinerary. Why not have the information on the search result too?
With this extension, legroom and carry-on information will be shown on the search result! It is time to show the airlines that we care about our comfort too.
Update 1.7.9. Now support new Google Flights UI.
Update 1.8.0. Fixes for new Google Flights UI support.
Update 1.8.1. Add in-flight entertainment column.
Update 1.8.2. Extension now work when landing on flight page from Google search. Extension also work on booking page.

- (2025-06-14) Lumi R: Was turned into adware, suddenly. Don't install.
- (2025-05-24) Mr Dave: Untrustworthy extension capturing all browsing data. Original app was great but got sold to a travel sales company and now requires permission to monitor all browsing activity and spams you with pop up ads over the top of the window. Privacy policy has not been updated from old app even though you now need to enable access to all browsing activity. Also refers you now out to 3rd party booking sites such as Kayak directly from google flights which basically defeats the purpose of using flights in the first. They don't make it easy either to close the pop ups. No X to close, you have to open a menu to close the ad.
- (2025-05-24) D Von: Has basically turned into malware. Very invasive. Used to be great but extension was sold to a Travel Arrow. They spam you with pop ups and require you to use Kayak and Expedia as well as others. Also requires data and access to ALL websites to track you and send you ads. No way to disable. I didn't uninstall it but turn it off and then back on only when I absolutely need it.
- (2025-05-12) Alex Soares: This used to be exceptional. Now, it has become littered with intrusive pop-up advertisements that appear too often, attempting to persuade users to make purchases through click-through links. Sadly, I found no way to disable these pop-ups. It's simply not worthy and therefore I'll uninstall the extension.
- (2025-02-21) Mike Borsetti: A privacy nightmare. REQUIRES ACCESS TO READ *ALL* SITES YOU NAVIGATE TO (otherwise refuses to improve Google Flights display). It's now all about spying on you at all time, in addition to an extremely heavy dose of spamming/advertising on Google Flights, and now, when on *ANY* travel website. Hopefully someone will code something useful again.

- (2025-02-14) Doug Gwilliam: Used to be fantastic! Now has a pop-up ad on every webpage wanting to save you money with click-thru buying and you can't turn the pop-up off!! Uninstalling now
- (2025-01-31) Sheri Bretan: Very helpful to knonw the seat pitch when selecting among flights
- (2025-01-11) Eric Mitchell: Used to be awesome, is still awesome BUT needs access to ALL site and has popups trying to "save you money" aka make more money for the company this got sold to. NOT OK!!!
- (2025-01-01) Alberto: The developer sold the extension to Travelarrow, a company known for taking advantage of your bookings to make money even if that booking is not the cheapest. That's why the extension know needs permissions to read all your websites and opens kayak, booking and similar webs by default when doind a flight search, similar to what Paypal Honey is doing and they are already being exposed. tldr: don't use this extension, it's not the original extension anymore
- (2024-12-28) Derek Hassell: Utter nonsense. The original author clearly sold it to some random company that just turned it into adware. So disappointed, this was one of my favorite extensions. Good bye.
- (2024-12-21) Sherif Abdel-Naby: It requires access to All Websites and not just Google Flights with no option to disable this. Would have loved to use this, and wouldn't mind some revenue generating techniques as long as they are confined to Google Flights. I uninstalled right away after.
- (2024-12-18) Edmundo Gomez: Love it!! Specially now that you can see the seats!!
- (2024-12-14) W R: Great extension. No effort necessary and a great tool for parcing out the pros/cons amongst different airlines.
- (2024-12-12) Vinicius Pereira: Great extension, always helps me a lot, I like it a lot!
- (2024-12-10) Dick Murray: Tons of annoying popup ads. It was good for a long time but they recently added very intrusive popups. Now it is unusable.
- (2024-12-04) Arash R: It's basically Adware now, and potentially spyware. It doesn't work if you don't give it access to all sites.
- (2024-12-02) Kevin Allen: Used to be a useful little tool, now it's nothing but obnoxious advertising BS. Never install this.
- (2024-12-01) Mark Paluta: Used to be great, but gives annoying popup ads now. Going to uninstall.
- (2024-11-29) Billy Gilbert: Now the app no longer works unless you let it access your full browsing data and is trying to be a shopping portal and who knows what else. Get back to the point of the tool.
- (2024-11-27) Justin Cherniak: This extension was great until recently. It just started showing ads on random websites and has been reported as abusive.
- (2024-11-14) Darlene Lenters: Love this extension. Makes it very easy to identify seats that lie flat vs recline. Get it!!
- (2024-11-02) Katie Cornog: helpful addditon when booking flights. I am 6'2" and find economy seats cramped. It's great to know which are slightly better than others.
- (2024-11-02) John Ungar: Works well
- (2024-10-31) Scotty B: Very helpful and useful Information when shopping for flights. I was able to avoid booking a cramped economy seat thanks to this wonderful app. I appreciate it.
- (2024-10-31) Douglas Radish: terrific app. love the seat width given
- (2024-10-31) Gary Parker: Fantastic! Also lets you know what type of aircraft is operated, so you can choose or avoid any particular type.
- (2024-10-30) Lawrence Himelfarb: Fantastic app and it is a must for anyone booking flights.
- (2024-10-30) Patrick (rose2020): great extension for legroom.
- (2024-10-28) Leah Althiser: Love this for finding lie flat business class routes!
- (2024-10-27) Mark Davies: Excellent exension!
- (2024-10-25) Kunal: All the new stuff on the google flights site is pretty helpful. I ended up saving a decent amount compared to what I usually spend. Good work
- (2024-10-21) Kumar Anik: Bummed by the fact that now it needs access to ALL data on ALL sites. Removing.
- (2024-10-20) Lewys Jones: This had been a useful extension for many years, but the need to read and write all info on all sites is an unnecessary permission. This combined with the recent update to open a hotel booking tab in the background has ruined an otherwise good tool.
- (2024-10-17) Eric Bunge: Ruined by needing access to all sites, clearly it's not trying to do what it originally set out to do.
- (2024-10-15) Jim Solomon: Was great, but now requires access to every site, not just Google Flights. If they change this back to the way it was, I'll change the review from one star to five stars.
- (2024-10-09) Randy Clinton: Originally it worked fine without needing data access on all websites. It worked fine for months. Now it send you to hotel searches when I don't want that. It says it only needs to change things on google, not it wants access on all sites.
- (2024-09-29) Josh: now shows ads, opens expedia, and includes useless hidden flights that are the same as the flights shown. Why did this amazing extension turn into spam? reporting
- (2024-08-26) Dave Scott: Default now checks a box that sends you to Expedia. Uninstalling.
- (2024-08-25) Cihat Imamoglu: It used to be purely for legrooms, now they got ads to show hotels. Uninstalled.
- (2024-08-12) Aaarush: The new cheaper flights update is dope. I just saved $150 on my flights to Hawaii. Didn’t know there were flights missing from google
- (2024-08-12) INFINITYFUNDLTD.: No brainer chrome extension - super useful to see legroom at a glance
- (2024-08-12) Frederick Gerber: I really enojoy the update! As others have already mentioned, replacing the unmaintained and ad-overloaded seatguru with the much nicer and more up-to-date aerolopa would be even better!
- (2024-08-12) Daniel Ciao: I like the update linking to Seatguru seat maps, but Seatguru has been unmaintained for a long time now. The current best source for seat maps is https://www.aerolopa.com so I'd love to see that instead
- (2024-08-08) Tech Path: Solid extension. New update links out to seatmaps in addition to showing legroom so I can see if the exit row is worth it or not.
- (2024-08-07) Austen Berens: This was an incredible extension, until it seems the developer sold out trying to get users to book hotels through them and increase their data access on the users. Basically an advertisement now. give us a roll back or a patch
- (2024-08-06) Rohan: The developer decided to make this an ad in the most recent update. It also requests permission to read data on ALL websites, not just google flights as it used to. This was a great extension before, but I had to remove it after this update. I don't want to see random online travel agencies when using google flights.
- (2024-08-05) Steven Cao: August 5 update should go straight to jail. It was an awesome extension before, now it's just an advertisement extension. Please let me roll back!!!
- (2024-08-05) Alan Liu: Update on August 5th 2024 made the extension significantly worse, I've removed it from my Chrome. They added their own "cheapest flight" option, outside of Google Flights, which isn't removable or togglable, ruining the shopping experience (this also points to other "cheaper", 3rd party options like BudgetAir.com that typically have egregious refund policies).
- (2024-01-16) Kraig Meyer: I love the concept...but the seat pitches that "Legrooms" displays don't match what's in seatguru for the same flight on the same day, so I wonder which is actually correct.
