• (2023-11-05) Richard Thomas: Does something. If I get 1 message from 1 number its counts as 1 on the counter. If I get more messages from the same number the counter just stays at 1 instead of counting up. Did not add counter to app version on taskbar. I use the install as chrome app function(upper right corner of address bar in google chrome when on the voice.google.com page). This installs google voice as an app to your PC. I was hoping this extension would put a counter on and highlight the windows taskbar icon. overall meh. Good idea. Pretty niche use, maybe hard to justify the work to make it do more.
• (2023-05-09) Josh Hefner: Forcibly reloads my voice tab constantly - even if I'm on a call - which then gets disconnected. NOT GOOD!
• (2022-03-25) Chris Merchant: Obsolete. Suspect it only worked with Legacy, which is now defunct. Does absolutely nothing anymore. No flags, no nothing.

I'm sure there are still bugs but you are welcome to use it. • (2021-02-14) Rob Armitage: It worked perfectly when I downloaded it months ago, but just recently the counter no longer goes up no matter how many messages I get. So months ago it was a 5 star download, today, not so much. Giving it three and if it starts working again I'll see if I can up it. I know there have been a lot of updates to voice recently, could be related.

  Hello, I love Google Voice. It has been wonderful for me, and I have encouraged many to use it too. The system has suddenly stopped being able to save phone numbers as actual names in my directory. It seems others are having the same problem. Is there a work-around for this or will an update be forthcoming? Thank you, Tony Lewis

  Everything appears to work, but no input sound. Speakers and Headphone sound work. This is an issue on two different computers, so it's not me. Says: "calling..." Then: "In voice call--- with seconds. No sound. HELP [email protected]

  Hello, I really don't understand what this is supposed to do I guess. I see the wrench next to the regular google voice icon on the upper right, but that's the only thing that it has done is add that icon. Unless I am missing something. What is it supposed to do? Anyone help, thank you.

  Once installed, the icon is greyed out. I installed using Version 61.0.3163.100 (Official Build) (64-bit) on Windows 10 and can find no active access. I'd love to use this app, but cannot. I do not use Legacy unless there is a GV feature I cannot access without it, hearing what the most recent reviewers say. Is a fix on the way?
