- I literally have not been able to get Mariner to successfully achieve a single browser-based task. Not one. Way behind what can be done with Operator (OpenAI), Comet (Perplexity), and while not apples-to-apples even Agent Mode in ChatGPT or Manus. Very surprising given Google's history pioneering what the browsing experience has felt like for most of the history of widely-accepted world wide web along with Gemini/DeepMind's positioning among the frontier models.

- Honestly, with the release of Gemini CLI.. I think that Mariner should really be introduced to Pro users soon, potentially with mimicked limits or related/matched where when using Mariner.. you use CLI limits, and vice versa.

- I think that the description does not make it clear enough that this is a companion for the Mariner Browser (the actual google project). From what is online: - Mariner is only available in the US - Mariner is only available to people who subscribed to Google AI Ultra - Mariner is a standalone agentic browser So from what I understand -> Mariner Companion plugs into your regular Chrome and watches what you do, in order to make it run on the Mariner browser later on as automated tasks. CONCLUSION: Anyone who cannot download the Mariner browser and does not fill the previously stated conditions cannot use the Mariner Companion extension

- I understand that is an experimental extension/service, but this is an extremely awful experience. The extension crashes immediately after pressing to teach the task. the dashboard website works on a virtual machine that's the slowest thing I've ever seen. it fails clicking a link on Google's own search engine, tried a new task with the website URL instead and it can't even type the website URL, it just fails doing basic stuff. This feature is behind the most expensive subscription, so people can't try it and see for themselves that it doesn't work. Google should be ashamed of themselves for even mentioning this product as the most complex AI agent when it can't even do first most basic thing.

- Not a single crash or issue since installing the extension! A very beautiful blue logo on such a deep, black background is a welcome design choice. It suggests a calm experience and I get a feeling of multiplied action, just looking at it. It would be very remiss of me not to proclaim my appreciation of the three month discount. $125.00 per month is a steal! Now, so long as Dr. Mariner can assist me *steal, I can afford the full $250 per month and continue its use once the discount concludes! I'll update my review, to include more than how majestic the icon is, after my other AI subscriptions have been cancelled and the funds redirected to this upgrade. * Legally earn income
