Description from store
Lite Image Downloader is a lightweight browser extension that allows you to download all cached images from the active tab and its frames (without re-downloading them from the network). Unlike traditional image downloaders, it uses the browser's debugger API to directly access and save already-loaded image data, making it immune to common issues like CORS restrictions, right-click blocking, or server-side rate limiting.
Features:
1. Detects all images loaded on the current page, including those in sub-frames.
2. Downloads images without making additional requests to the server.
3. Saves all images to the default Downloads folder.
How to Use:
1. Pin the extension icon to your toolbar (it's initially hidden in the extensions popup).
2. Navigate to the page you want to extract images from.
3. Click the extension's action button and wait for the progress to reach 100%.
4. Find the downloaded images in your default Downloads folder.
To Cancel the Download:
1. Click the action button again to stop the process.
This extension supports both standard and CSS-loaded images, including those inside cross-origin iframes. Because it operates entirely on cached data, it consumes no additional bandwidth and downloads images faster and more reliably. Simply scroll through the page to ensure all images are loaded, then click the extension's action button to begin. A progress badge will indicate the download status, and clicking the button again will stop the process.
Lite Image Downloader is designed to complement other image download tools. It is ideal for use as a first step when you want a fast, no-hassle way to grab images that are already visible in your browser.
