TrackCheck for SoundCloud is a key and tempo analyzer for audio tracks.
V1.0.7: known issue: the trackcheck button doesn't appear in "single track page", it appears on "user page" or "playlist page". We are working on a fix.
TrackCheck scans SoundCloud songs and detects the tempo and key of them.
The song must be either:
- Your own song (you must be logged in),
- Downloadable or
- Already analyzed.
In addition to this, it helps you to find other SoundCloud songs that are similar to your song with respect to tempo and/or key.
Song owners can add the found results to SoundCloud´s metadata tags, with a simple button click.
TrackCheck makes use of the sonicAPI.com webservice that brings high-end music algorithms in the cloud.
TrackCheck is free of charge for now, but this may change in the future.
Help:
To start, go to your SoundCloud page, and click on the TrackCheck buttons which appears under a song.

- (2020-02-16) chad: I loved it while it worked. Super helpful as a vinyl dj to be able to sort my records by key. As of 2/14/20 it is dead. I get the same message every time, and there is no support it seems. What a bummer, RIP. "Sorry, the track could not be downloaded or streamed from the SoundCloud site, hence is not analyzable."

- (2014-07-24) Roman Aksenov: После установки этого расширения компьютер буквально превращается в помойку. Лезут и баннеры и внизу появляются письма с предложениями типа :"Давай познакомимся" и другие. Открываются ненужные страницы и в завершение всего открывается страница которая не даёт уйти с неё, сообщая, что компьютер заражен и тд.Не ожидал, что здесь могут быть откровенно опасные расширения. Теперь не знаю как быстро сработает администрация и решит эту проблему. Ни в коем случае не добавляйте.
