☑ It indicates whether you are using the "Global speed" setting (inactive) or a custom content setting (active).
☑ Click on the ⭐️ button to remember (or forget) a custom speed setting for the current site. These custom settings are visible in the Settings -> Content tab.
☑ The ⭐️ will also be active if it detects a domain setting (eg. if you have created a Tiktok domain to always watch Tiktok videos at 1.25x). Domain settings can also be controlled from Settings -> Content tab.
