- Great tool! It works super well on pdfs and websites, but not so much on downloaded ones but I usually just copy paste it into a google doc and have that read out loud. I loveee that I can highlight a specific paragraph and have only that one read out to me and I love that it goes up to 2.5x speed, pretty sure other extensions don't do that! I have such a hard time sitting down and reading but this tool helps me out so much! Thank you Read Out Loud :)

- Complaints: - Completely restarts reading anytime you adjust speed or voices - Can't read downloaded PDF's - Some websites, you can't decide where it starts to read, so it starts reading from the very beginning of the page (even if that part isn't part of the reading itself) - Voice will pause after random words when there's no punctuation present Praises: - Glad it can go to 2.5x speed instead of just 1x. - Reads odd contractions like s'pose and 'em correctly

- Overall Fantastic! Gets stuck a 1 out of 20 times where you need to refresh the page for some reason. Not really a problem though. Non-Intrustive and Minimal design makes it just very convenient to use.

- Work great as long as you are able to highlight text. With certain pdfs and documents its not helpful due to that issue, but overall it works great.

- so far i am very happy. voice is not robotic, works with all sites i visited so far, like ms learning, etc - where reading out actually makes lots of sense. no glitches noticed and so far no paywall visible, will see how this goes... ps. there is a limitation as it looks like on some sites. chrome web store is one of them, e.g. pss. did not try out anything other than english so far.

- So far this is working great. Although the number of voices is quite limited, they are of good quality (not robotic). I wish that I could increase the speed beyond 2.5X. (I have been able to go as high as 4x in other tools which is rough but perfect when skimming). I have not encountered any paywall so I am hopeful that this is truly free. I wish the Chrome would install a native reader like Edge but until then, this is a great solution. There are a few "glitches" when reading. The most notable are "&" and Roman Numerals. The inability to recognize the & is the most annoying given my reading material... but I bump into lists that enumerated in roman numerals as well. The other issue that I had was the it skipped over a table in the document I was looking at. But I just read this separately. All in all... very useful and high quality. Would definitely recommend.

- Perfect extension for people who prefer audio content (like me), or just don’t have the time or patience to read long pdfs, but still want more than just a summary (also me). It doesn’t auto-detect the page language, but that’s totally fine. And the English voice is not annoying! :D
