YouTube now forces videos to stick to a single audio language, with no built-in option to prioritize the original language when multiple tracks are available. This makes for a frustrating experience — especially for multilingual users who prefer to watch content in its original form.
This lightweight extension automatically opens the video settings, checks if multiple audio tracks exist, and selects the one labeled "original", if available.
🔹 It's not perfect, but it can help bridge the gap while YouTube works on a more refined interface or user setting.
⚠️ Note: This extension relies entirely on simulating standard YouTube player interactions. It won’t work on all videos and doesn't modify or interfere with playback outside of selecting the original audio track.
