1. Pin a job or project by creating a snapshot.
2. Review LinkedIn profiles for candidate evaluation.
3. Receive a breakdown of skill matches and gaps with a score (automated process).
---------------------------------------

☆ Who Will Benefit ☆
* LinkedIn Recruiters and Recruiter Lite Users
Address the need to identify missing skills not available in LinkedIn's native tools, improving shortlisting accuracy.
* Recruitment Department Teams
Serve teams hiring IT specialists, consultants, and developers, addressing the demand for efficient skill assessment across roles.
* Startup Owners and Founders
Cater to those managing hiring independently, meeting the need for cost-effective candidate evaluation without recruiters.
* Talent Matchers on platforms like Fiverr, Upwork, Upstaff, Toptal, Lemon, Arc.dev, etc.
Fulfill the requirement for precise matching on freelance platforms, enhancing candidate-job alignment.
* Interviewers
Meet the need to quickly assess skill coverage and gaps in lengthy resumes (5-10 pages), simplifying interview preparation.
---------------------------------------
☆ Real Value ☆
* Streamline the candidate screening process.
* Reduces time spent on manual skill analysis, potentially saving up to 2-3 hours per candidate profile.
* Identify suitable candidates quickly, improve daily workflow efficiency by automating skill comparisons and focusing efforts on relevant profiles (improves precision by an estimated 20-30% over manual methods).
---------------------------------------
☆ Vocabulary ☆
DevMatch includes a comprehensive vocabulary of IT skills, incorporating common variations and aliases (e.g., "JS" for JavaScript, "Node" for Node.js). It features structured skill groups such as front-end, back-end, and DevOps, ensuring accurate recognition and categorization. Beyond scanning, it highlights technical skills directly on pages for easy identification.
---------------------------------------
☆ Usage on LinkedIn ☆
DevMatch is developed specifically for all LinkedIn Recruiter and Recruiter Lite users, serving as a free add-on with no additional cost. LinkedIn is a primary platform for IT recruitment, with over 80% of tech hiring managers using it for sourcing, according to industry estimates. This add-on addresses the lack of skill gap analysis in LinkedIn's native features, enabling users to efficiently scan and match profiles against job requirements using LinkedIn’s extensive database.

- (2025-06-20) Dmitry Kononov: first day review: 1) So I pinned one of our jobs, and now I can see how each candidate (LN profile) matches that job technically. 2) Some skills are actually not tech skills (like GO is a programming language but also a verb. Would be cool to be able to skip some skills I personaly don't need . 3) Missing skills is also cool. There are hundreds of profile we review daily. 4) Is there a way to integrate with our ATS or store history of profiles I opened. 5) Since it scans profiles, would be cool to get some history + score to find someone few days later. 6) How I set up several profiles for my team, is this possible, teamwork? Great job overall.
