Description from store
ChecaPage is a Chrome Extension that helps users identify unsafe websites by analyzing both the URL and HTML content of the page. Powered by Deep Learning, it detects phishing threats and suspicious behaviors based on page structure.
🚀 Browse smarter and stay aware:
ChecaPage provides an extra layer of security during your browsing sessions. When triggered manually, it analyzes the current page and alerts you if suspicious elements are detected — such as hidden login forms, phishing patterns, or iframe usage.
🧠 How it works:
ChecaPage uses Deep Learning models to evaluate website content. When you activate the extension, it sends the page’s HTML and a screenshot to a secure backend server that checks for known malicious indicators. Your data is not stored, reused, or shared.
🔒 Privacy First:
This extension does not collect, track, or profile users. All analysis is performed on-demand and securely.
🎓 Academic Project:
ChecaPage was created as part of a university research initiative by students at Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (Peru). It is open-source and built with educational and cybersecurity goals in mind.
🛡️ Features:
• Detects phishing and suspicious page structures
• Alerts about unsafe login forms and hidden traps
• Uses Deep Learning models for content-based analysis
• Ideal for cautious users, researchers, and students
