Modern life is hurried, with screens discipling us with every scroll and click. As Christians, we are called to actively conform our thoughts to the Word of God (Romans 12:2). Bible In Your Browser is a tool for knowing God's Word. Bible In Your Browser intercepts specified sites, setting aside a moment for your to dwell on the living and active Word of God before you dwell on something of lesser value. Before accessing digital distractions (whether it's Facebook, Reddit, Email, News, etc.) take time to be acquainted with scripture.
How does it work?
1) Store Up the Word
Enter Bible verses you wish to commit to memory.
2) Name the Distractions
List the websites where your time tends to drift. Social media, news, work ... any sites where the minutes pass unmeasured ("making the best use of time, because the days are evil" Eph 5:16).
We are formed by what we click. And every visit to a website is a part of this formation, whether for good or evil. The question is not whether you are being discipled, but by whom. This extension invites you to let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly before venturing off into the world.
