PageShield automatically scans webpages for invisible elements designed to trick users—such as hidden iframes or overlapping buttons used in clickjacking attacks. Hidden elements on the page will be outlined in red so users can be aware of what is happening.
PageShield will show hidden windows on the page by highlighting them in red, as well as hidden buttons. If the hidden buttons are beneath a visible button to trick you, the visible button that was meant to trick you will be highlighted in purple.
Additionally, PageShield uses a blacklist to block known advertising domains.

What It Does:

Not sure if the flagged content is truly dangerous? Click the "AI Scan" button to get a concise security verdict from a large language and receive advice in seconds.
✅ Smart Whitelisting:
Accidentally flagged a legitimate iframe? Click “False Alarm” and that source will be safely remembered and excluded from future warnings—across browsing sessions.
✅ Badge Alerts:
The extension icon in your toolbar updates in real-time, showing either: "⚠️ Warning detected"; or "✅ Page looks clean"
