Treedent is a lightweight, privacy-friendly tab manager that turns the sea of open tabs in your browser into an intuitive, collapsible tree. By visualizing parent–child relationships (every link you open from a page becomes a child of that tab) and giving you fast ways to search, group, and suspend tabs, it helps you stay organized and keep memory use under control—no matter how intense your research or workflow gets.
Key features
Tree-style sidebar – See every tab in a vertical, nested outline; collapse entire branches with one click.
Drag-and-drop nesting & re-ordering – Move tabs or whole groups exactly where you need them.
Saved sessions – automaticallt snapshot your current tree and reopen it later, or auto-restore after a crash.
Powerful search & multi-select – Filter tabs instantly and apply bulk actions.
Quick tab hibernation – Suspend idle branches to free RAM and CPU, then wake them instantly when needed.
Flexible theming – Light, dark, and high-contrast themes out of the box.
Context-menu integration – “Open as child”, “Bookmark branch”, and other handy actions right where you right-click.
Privacy-first architecture – transparent telemetry which you can disable in settings; all other data stays local.
Whether you juggle dozens of research tabs, silo projects into separate trees, or simply want an uncluttered browser, Treedent gives you the structure (and breathing room) to browse smarter.
Features under development:
Better appearance control – enhanced controls over the look and feel of different UI elements.
Cloud sync – optionally keep your trees, workspaces, and settings synchronized across all your devices.
