Description from store
Activity Tracker CAPTCHA is a browser extension developed for academic research purposes, specifically as part of a final-year Computer Science project. It monitors user behavior such as mouse movement, scroll speed, and typing intervals to detect potential bot-like activity. When suspicious patterns are detected like linear cursor paths or unusually fast typing speed, it triggers a modal CAPTCHA overlay directly within the web page to verify human presence. The goal is to enhance security by prompting CAPTCHAs only when needed, minimizing user disruption while preventing automated access. All behavior data is anonymized, used solely for research, and securely logged to a backend server. The extension does not access or store any personal information or browsing history and does not use unnecessary permissions.
