ChainWhisper is a bookmarking extension built for people who collect a lot of links — and actually want to make sense of them.
Instead of burying pages in folders, this tool lets you:
Save links with notes and optional tags
Connect bookmarks to each other like a web of ideas
See it all laid out visually in a clean, interactive graph
It’s lightweight, local-first (everything is stored in your browser), and doesn’t require any sign-in.
The goal is to make your bookmarks feel more like a personal knowledge graph, and less like a junk drawer.
Why it exists:
Most bookmarking tools assume you’ll remember what a link was for. This one doesn’t. ChainWhisper gives you context — notes, tags, and connections — so you can actually find and reuse what you save.
Still in early development — more features coming soon, including:
Tag-based filtering
Link previews
Sync options
For now, it’s totally free. A Pro version may come later once it’s more polished.
Built by someone who was tired of forgetting why they saved that one link.
