Short Description
Streamlines UAT testing by capturing, auto-naming screenshots, and tracking test sessions. Now with keyboard shortcuts for rapid evidence collection!
Long Description
Tired of the tedious cycle of "Print Screen," pasting into Paint, and manually naming files during your testing cycles? AutoEvidence is a powerful browser extension designed to eliminate the manual work from User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA), letting you focus on what truly matters: finding bugs.
This tool automates the entire screenshot evidence-gathering process. With smart naming conventions and session tracking, you can effortlessly capture, document, and organize your testing evidence with just a few clicks.
Key Features:
Automated Screenshot Naming: Automatically names every screenshot with a structured and informative filename. The format includes the Test Case ID, Pass/Fail result, a sequence number, and a timestamp (e.g., TC_LOGIN_001_Pass_01_20250715123000.png), making your evidence clear and easy to sort.
UAT Session Mode: Group multiple screenshots under a single Test Case ID. Simply start a session, and the extension will automatically increment the sequence number for each capture, perfectly documenting multi-step test cases.
Rapid Keyboard Shortcut: During an active session, use the Ctrl+Shift+S keyboard shortcut to instantly capture a screenshot without even opening the extension popup. The extension provides system notifications to confirm a successful capture or alert you if a session isn't active.
Instant Pass/Fail Flagging: Mark each test step directly in the popup. The "Pass" or "Fail" status is embedded right into the filename for immediate clarity.
Broad Compatibility: The extension is designed to work across all URLs, ensuring you can capture evidence from any web application you are testing.
