Stop copying and pasting job details manually. This extension captures LinkedIn job postings with one click and sends them to your Vega AI dashboard.
When you're browsing LinkedIn, you'll see a small capture button on job listings. Click it, add any notes you want (like salary expectations or how interested you are), and the job gets saved to your dashboard automatically.
What gets captured:
- Job title, company, and description
- Salary info (when available)
- Location and job type
- Direct link back to the original posting
You can connect to either the cloud version at vega.benidevo.com or run your own server locally. The extension works with both setups.
The whole thing is open source (AGPL-3 license) so you can check out the code on GitHub if you want to see how it works or contribute improvements.
Setup is straightforward: install the extension, sign in with your Vega AI account, and start capturing jobs. No complicated configuration needed.
Currently works with LinkedIn. Indeed and Glassdoor support is coming soon.
This pairs with the main Vega AI app where you can track your applications, get match scores, and generate cover letters. But the extension itself just does one thing well: makes it easy to save jobs without interrupting your browsing.
