- Videos start playing automatically when opening in full screen mode.
- Sigma Flame
- To prevent the audio to be played one second after the page loads, you should mute all new tabs until your stop function acts on the page then unmute and rewind the affected video to the start if possible.
- Jiang Bian
- works pretty good for me
- Hyperland
- This is a great extension, and it works for me! Please don't stop the development due to the botted negative reviews. It works on youtube and twitch, atleast for me. Keep up the great work!

- Downloaded this extension to make roblox game's pages stop automatically starting to play youtube videos in the game's thumbnails. IT WORKED. finally, thank gosh, they won't auto-play anymore. Some of these yt videos in the thumbnails section of the roblox games even play ads.... Ridiculous, and no way to stop the auto-playing of these game thumbnail videos. But this extension worked. Thank you.
- Moofficer

- Lajos György Mészáros
- Works very well, even blocked the annoying background video of the shopify homepage.
- Tommy McTurtleson
- I was annoyed every morning by videos auto playing on FOX. I tried every suggestion I could in Chrome to stop them, without success. I then began trying extensions and none worked until I found this one. AutoplayStopper (MV3) is like RAID for videos. Stops them dead in their tracks!
- Daniell Goodin
- working on hotcopper
- Jordan Williams
- Stops autoplay as advertised however the extension seems to break when you change tabs and come back, videos start autoplaying again.
- Daniel Schwind
- The extension works excellently in general, reliably blocking things. However, it unfortunately has a tendency to ignore exceptions, and will still reliably block things even when you don't want it to. It doesn't happen often, but it does.
- Richard Davies
- Works great on the Amazon store homepage where it autoplays annoying video ads. This so far stopped it before it even started.
- Kevin Tabb
- It works better than any other extension since Chrome mandated v3 manifest. Sometimes you need to refresh a page to bring the autoplay stopping back (e.g. NYTimes.) I don't care that it doesn't work for youtube since when I'm on youtube I want to watch videos. (There's surely dedicated extensions for that who want it.) I want this extension to block motion on pages that I want to read on, and it does it better than any other v3 manifest extension I've found.
- Don Partlan
- IT WORKED....for a second...what is up with the NYTimes
- Laurynas C
- Works on Youtube like previous extension (stops autoplay on new tabs, but allows for currently open one). Thank you!
- Rick Holmes
- It doesn't really work well. It would stop autoplay on a few sites, then I realized when I went to pause a video the volume icon showed the video was muted even though sound played, I hit the volume icon to see if it would mute but I had to hit it again to mute. Not the best but not the worst, I didn't notice any sites that it broke or make functions unusable but it doesn't have the functionality I hoped
- Jordan
- I tried this on Youtube but it wont stop autoplays, it just plays by itself so idk how it works on all websites when it wont stop on youtube. Maybe other sites it might work i guess
- Josh Baer
- So far so good. Works on the sites I frequent.
- Google User
- Can't blame the developer. There are only certain amount of filters they can add to the extension in MV3. This is a bad extension format. For now, switch to Firefox assuming you can find a comparable extension. The truth is you probably won't and MV3 might affect FF too in the future. Your best bet is to use an old fork of Chrome or a Chromium based browser.
- Сергей Запорожский
