# Skip Tab — Chrome Extension
Skip Tab lets you exclude specific tabs from your Ctrl+Tab / Ctrl+Shift+Tab navigation loop, so you can quickly switch between relevant tabs without getting interrupted by ones you want to ignore.
## What it does
- Skip or unskip the current tab so it’s excluded from navigation
- Navigate left/right across non-skipped tabs using keyboard shortcuts
- View and manage a list of all skipped tabs
- Everything is stored locally — no network, no tracking
## Features
- Toggle skip/unskip from:
- The extension popup
- The page context menu (right click)
- A keyboard shortcut you can configure
- Custom navigation:
- Alt + Q — Move to the tab on the right
- Alt + W — Move to the tab on the left
- You can customize these from Chrome’s “Keyboard Shortcuts” for extensions
- Manage skipped tabs:
- Open the popup to see all skipped tabs (by site path)
- Unskip individually or remove all at once
## How to use
1. Go to a tab you want to exclude from navigation.
2. Use the extension popup or context menu to “Skip Current Tab.” Use “Unskip Current Tab” to include it again.
3. Use Alt+Q / Alt+W to move right/left across only the tabs you didn’t skip.
## Privacy
- No data leaves your device.
- No analytics, no external requests for core functionality.
- Reinstalling the extension resets the skipped list.
