The most foundational jam skill is being able to pick up the chords on the fly to songs you haven't learned by:
1) using your ear to "hear" the chord changes and
2) using your your eyes to look at a guitar player's chording hand
ChordCam for Strum Machine replaces the chord chart in Strum Machine with am image of a guitar player's chording hand for the current chord to help you develop these skills.
🛠️ How it works:
1) Pull up Strum Machine in your browser (you need to have an account with Strum Machine for this to work)
2) Choose a song
3) Find the "ChordCam" toggle in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the "help" button
**NOTE: If you don't see the toggle, refresh the page (This is a common bug at the moment)**
