"Better Admin for Shopify" improves Admin-UI in Shopify with customisable navigation. The purpose is to make frequently used data more accessible and to make access to forms and functions more intuitive.
The extension helps administrators and content-creators work more efficiently by making relevant content visible and editable directly in the backend in a context-sensitive manner.

What I find particularly clever: The sidebar stays open even after an accidental click on the "X"—small tweak, big time saver. Order pop-ups now show the number of orders placed by a customer, plus neat links to draft orders and customer profiles—smooth as butter. Product pop-ups offer net‑sales-over‑time, variant-level info, links to all related orders or metafields, and even flag zero-stock variants in red. It’s not magic, but it might as well be. And yes, you can export and import your configuration—goodbye repetitive setup. The developer (we convert! GmbH, all the way from Berlin) keeps the updates coming—late August 2025 brought a flurry of improvements. And as a nice bonus, they’re EU‑compliant and don’t collect or sell your data.
