Tired of being logged out of your favorite websites just because you've been inactive for a while? Session Keeper is the simple, "set it and forget it" solution to keep your sessions alive automatically.
Whether it's for your project management tools, forums, or online accounts, Session Keeper works silently in the background to tell websites you're still there, preventing frustrating and disruptive timeouts.
Key Features
Works in the Background: The extension runs from the moment you start your browser. You don't need to keep any tabs open for it to work.
Fully Configurable: You have complete control. Add any URL you want to keep active and set a custom ping interval, from minutes to hours.
Easy to Use: A clean and simple options page lets you manage your list of URLs and settings with ease.
Status at a Glance: Quickly check the time of the last ping and the success status for each of your configured URLs right from the options page.
Privacy First: Your data is yours. All your settings and URLs are stored locally on your own computer and are never collected or transmitted to anyone.
How It Works
Session Keeper uses the browser's built-in, power-efficient alarm system to periodically send a silent, lightweight request to the URLs you've chosen. This mimics activity and resets the session timeout on the website's server, keeping you logged in without any effort on your part.
