Color Picker is a lightweight and easy-to-use extension designed to help users quickly obtain the color value of any pixel on the screen. When you click the “Pick Again” button, the extension interface automatically hides and calls the EyeDropper API, allowing precise color selection without switching pages or opening developer tools. After picking a color, the popup panel displays in real time the Hex, RGB, and HSL values along with the selection time, and supports one-click copying to the clipboard. All picked colors are stored locally in chronological order (up to the latest 20 records) and displayed in the history panel as color swatches with their corresponding Hex values; by clicking “View”, a color can be quickly loaded as the current color, or the entire history can be cleared with one click. The extension uses the hideUI/showUI functions to prevent its own interface from interfering with the color-picking process, and all functionality is implemented entirely in frontend scripts with zero backend dependencies — making it ideal for frontend developers, UI designers, and color enthusiasts.
