This extension fixes a problem where YouTube's fullscreen mode stops you from scrolling through comments and related videos.
What it does: It removes a special code that YouTube adds to elements that breaks scrolling in fullscreen mode.
How to use:
Install the extension
Go to YouTube
Watch videos in fullscreen mode, press the full screen button
You can now scroll normally through comments.
You will have to manually go into fullscreen (press F11 on your keyboard) then press the full screen button on the video player.
I'm actively looking for more keen solutions. YouTube fully took away the patch method, because they would... For now, this is the best jank thing I could come up with. If you have any ways to improve or want to contribute to the code, visit the github link (homepage URL) . You can actively track my progress there.
- v1.0.13 - Attempts to bring back what youtube destroyed. It's a duct tape solution, but will improve. Please give me time.
- v1.0.9, nothing new added except some console debug info to help identify future issues.
