Description from store
Audio File Downloader lets you quickly find and save audio music files from any webpage right from the toolbar.
Tested and working on Apple Music/Podcasts, Shazam, Listennotes, Uppbeat, Suno and more.
Does not work on all popular streaming sites as they use DRM and or encryption! (Nothing we can do about it)
Key features:
- One-click downloads from the toolbar popup: download a single audio file or select all music files.
- Smart badge counter shows how many audio files were detected on the current page.
- Shows the file format such as mp3 or wav.
- Shows the file size e.g. 4 MB
Make sure after installing to pin the extension to your toolbar:
1. Click the little puzzle extensions icon in Chrome.
2. Look for “Audio File Downloader” and click the pin icon next to it.
3. Click the toolbar icon on a website with audio to detect and download the music
Important: You’re responsible for how you use this extension. Always check copyright permissions on each site before downloading.
PS: If everything fails try the Chrome Audio Capture extension that allows you to record any audio playing on the current tab.

- (2025-09-10) E L: Best extension I've tried in a loooong time to download music! I was able to download mp3, wav, ogg, m4a, aac, flac, opus, weba and webm audio music files from Bandcamp, Envato Elements, Musicroamer, Everynoise, NPR, iHeart, Ultimate-Guitar (Shots), Bleep and Musopen. Seem not to work on Spotify, Deezer, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, SoundCloud, VK Music, Yandex Music, Last.fm, Discogs, Hypem, Liveone or Instagram though. But pretty happy with Apple music and podcast anyway.
