Description from store
Link Scanner finds every link on the page and shows you exactly where each one appears. With one click, it scans the current tab, counts all links, and highlights them directly on the page so you can see their precise placement in the content.
What it does:
- Detects all links on the current page
- Groups them into internal vs outbound
- Highlights links in context on the page, so you can see where they sit in headings, menus, footers, articles, etc.
- Shows quick totals in the popup for a fast overview
Why it’s useful:
- Spot misplaced or hidden links at a glance
- Review how links are distributed across the page (above/below the fold, body vs. navigation)
- Speed up content reviews, SEO/link audits, and QA checks
How to use:
1. Open any page.
2. Click the extension and press Scan.
3. View totals for internal and outbound links.
4. Highlights are applied on the page so you can see each link’s location.
Privacy & permissions:
- All scanning happens locally in your browser.
- No data is collected, stored, or sent anywhere.
- Requires minimal permissions (active tab only).
Notes:
- Works on most sites. If a page changes after load (e.g., infinite scroll), just scan again.
