YouTube Transcript Download A free chrome extension to download youtube transcript as a text file

What is it? YouTube Transcript Download is a free Chrome Extension that will allow you to download the transcript from a YouTube video. It's really quite simple, simply install the Chrome Extension, go onto a YouTube video and click on the button and it will begin downloading the transcript in a matter of seconds. This extension is incredibly useful if you do not have enough time to watch a video, but you want to learn about a topic, or perhaps if you have a hard time paying attention to the video but can focus on the text.

How is it installed? To install the YouTube Transcript Download extension, simply go to the Chrome web store, where you download the other extensions from. From there, just search for "YouTube Transcript Download"

How is it used? When you finally have the extension installed, you are free to go onto any YouTube video. Once you click the button, you should see a blue ring around the extension's icon in the top right corner of your screen, this ring will slowly turn from blue to green until it is completely green, which will let you know when the downloading process is complete. Once the downloading is complete, the file should automatically download in the bottom left corner of your screen, then you can click on the file and see the transcript in any text editor.

How is it useful? This Chrome extension is extremely useful in many ways, such as if you do not have enough time to watch the video, but would like to learn about the topic the video is about. Another example would be if you have a hard time paying attention to the video, so you would rather read it's transcript instead. Either way, this Chrome extension is incredibly useful and can save you a lot of time in the long run.
