Activate: Navigate to a manga website. Click the MangaColorizerPro icon in your toolbar and flip the "Enable on this site" switch.
Choose Your Mode:
Automatic: Turn on "Auto-Colorize" to have the extension process panels for you in the background as you read.
Manual: Leave "Auto-Colorize" off. A subtle icon will appear on valid manga panels. Simply click it to colorize that specific panel on demand.
Watch the Magic: The on-panel icon will animate to show you its processing status.
Enjoy: The colorized version appears directly on the page, ready for you to enjoy. Use the popup settings to toggle between the colorized, original, or a side-by-side view at any time.

- Free Mode (15 attempts) 🛑 — These should be activated by default! Right now, you have to manually find and activate the plan deep in the settings. It would be much better if they were ready to use immediately after registration. Authorization issues 📧 — Google login throws an error and doesn't work. Only manual registration via email. Technical bugs ⚠️ — errors keep popping up: 404, Not Found, Server Error, etc. No Russian localization 👅🇷🇺 — a major downside. It seems like localization is easy to do, so I don't know what the problem is. Expectation vs. Reality ❌🖼 — the extension's screenshots show the best results, but in reality, it only works well with high-quality manga that has very dense art (which is rare). The eye 👁 icon (Sharingan) disappears if you flip to the next manga slide; to make it work again, you have to refresh the page, which is inconvenient. I know there is a parallel mode, but it would be good if the 'eye' was always visible at the bottom, and when you click it, it starts spinning — it’s convenient: you click and it’s in color, if you don’t click, it’s not Experience with the GitHub version 🐍 — I used the free version from there (the basic version, not PRO), which can be run locally (via Python). It runs using your PC's power — it's better than nothing, sometimes it's fun to colorize. But there's often way too much saturation (I lower it with another extension and then it's okay-ish), it picks colors at random, don't expect it to colorize perfectly. I'd rate the GitHub basic version about 3-4 out of 10. The Pro version seems to work better with default colors (adequate saturation) Feedback from others 🗣 — people under his YouTube channel are saying the same thing. It feels like the manga was colored by a kid with a pencil :D. Message to the developers 📝 Don't think that I'm just a hater; this rating is so that you: Improve your script's performance. 🛠 Add localization. 🌍 Fix the activation process — make the 15 free attempts available by default without forcing users to search for manual activation. 🚫 Anyway, I'm grateful for the GitHub build and your work, it’s fun to play around with. But often the colorization is very weak, about 3-4 out of 10. Honestly, it's much better to read in black and white because the coloring is very poor and low-quality, and the colors are random :( 🎨 Even in Photoshop, given enough time, you can colorize much better even without experience — well, most of the time. I've thought about using Stable Diffusion models to test the results, but the models are heavy, some are archived and not available for download, but they say you can get decent results there. 🤖
