This extension was born out of a simple need: a clean, digital alternative to a physical whiteboard. Instead of buying supplies or cluttering your desk, TaskTracker gives you a persistent, organized space to jot down tasks, accessible wherever you use Chrome.

Smart Daily Rollover (The Spillover List)

Automatic Cleanup: Every morning, TaskTracker checks your date. All tasks left incomplete are automatically migrated to the dedicated "Yesterday's Unfinished Tasks" (Spillover List).

Fresh Start: Your main TaskTracker list is completely reset each day, giving you a clean slate for today's priorities.

Persistence: Tasks in the Spillover List remain there until you manually check them off or delete them.

Intuitive Task Management

Smooth Animation: Completed tasks smoothly fade and shrink out of their position before the list re-sorts, providing satisfying visual feedback before they settle at the bottom.

Unique Task ID: The system handles identical task descriptions perfectly, ensuring the correct task is always updated or deleted.

Easy Deletion: Use the '✖' button to permanently remove any task from either list.

Optimized UI/UX

Persistent Storage: All tasks, lists, and statuses are saved securely and locally using Chrome Storage.

🛠️ How to Use TaskTracker

Install the extension.

Click the TaskTracker icon in your toolbar.

Type a task and press Enter or click Add.

To finish a task, click the checkbox.

Check back tomorrow! Any incomplete tasks will be waiting in the Spillover Section.
