Font Changer for Chrome
Description from store

Looking for a simple way to make every website easier to read? Searching for a fast, reliable tool to set one consistent font across Chrome—without per-site tweaks? Font Changer for Chrome lets you pick a preferred typeface for the whole browser, remember your choice, exclude sites where needed, and restore the original look anytime. With 50+ Google Fonts available, you can quickly tailor readability and comfort to your taste.

Key Features

1) Global Font Control - Apply one font across all tabs for a consistent reading experience.

2) Styling Options - Choose family, weight, and style (normal or italic).

3) Domain Exceptions - Exclude specific sites where the global font shouldn’t apply.

4) Save & Reset - Persist settings across sessions and reset to the original font at any time.

How to Use

Step 1 — Open Font Changer
Install the extension and click its icon in Chrome’s toolbar to open the control panel.

Step 2 — Choose Your Typography
Select a font family from the built-in Google Fonts, then choose a weight (e.g., Regular, Medium, Bold) and a style (Normal or Italic) to match your preference.

Step 3 — Apply Globally & Save
Click Apply to set your chosen font across all current and future tabs. Your selection is saved automatically, so it stays active the next time you open Chrome.

Step 4 — Manage Exceptions & Reset
If you don’t want the global font on certain sites, add their domains (e.g., youtube.com) to the Exceptions list. You can remove a domain anytime to re-enable the global font on that site. To go back to Chrome’s original font everywhere, use Reset

Why It’s Useful

It delivers a cleaner, more consistent reading experience, helps reduce visual strain, and gives quick, centralized control over typography—no need to adjust settings on each site.

Who It’s For

Students, researchers, professionals, developers, writers, accessibility-minded users, and anyone who wants a more legible, personalized web.
