• (2021-09-14) Brian Fulda: As a social media manager, this app saves me SO MUCH TIME. I love that it can download the full-res version. In the old days, I used to dig through the source code just to find the full 1080x1350 full size image. This is so much faster. Simple, clean interface too.

I think it has something to do with the URL that Facebook/Instagram generates. If you remove the _nc_sid query string at the end of the URL, the video will load in the browser but you'll have to deal with buffering problems.

  A few weeks ago I noticed that some images are saved with a .webp extension (used to be .jpg all the time). And my ACDsee Photo Studio won't open them, even though WIndows Paint and Chrome have no problems opening and showing them. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that they are in fact jpg files inside, just saved with a .webp extension for some reason. Apparently most software doesn't have problem with that but some (ACDsee) does. Could you look into it and make sure that the files are saved with a correct extension?   Hi, Ive been using your extension for awhile now to make HD reposts on my page and it has been great so far, however, I noticed a persistent issue when it comes to downloading specific videos from multiple-video slide posts. If I try to download videos from a post that has multiple videos in it, it will only download the FIRST VIDEO it detects in the post, even though I click the 'download' button on the specific video slide I want downloaded. This issue happens in both video-only posts (posts that only contain videos, one in each slide) AND posts that have a mix of photos and videos. Example 1) there is a video-only post of 8 videos on different slides, if I click 'download' on the 6th video slide, it ONLY downloads the video thats on the FIRST slide. No matter which video I try to download it only downloads the first video it detects. Example 2) there is a post that has a picture on the first slide and then 4 videos after it in separate slides, if I click the 'download' button on the last video of the post then it will ONLY download the first VIDEO of the post (it skips over the photo in slide 1), it doesn't matter which video I click on to download it won't download any videos besides the first one. I noticed this happening for a few months now but I am not sure if this has always been an issue and didn't realize it or if it started happening after something updated/changed on my end, the extension works fine besides that! Sorry this is long I just wanted to be as detailed as possible, please help!!! Thank you!!

I reviewed both files closely and there is a quality difference. Some research shows the source text "og:video" to point toward this higher resolution file. I've seen this quality difference mostly on newer posts.

  Thank you for this, i've been looking for a clean & simple extension for quite some time. Few things though: 1) Stories of some users seem to be buggy, and the button shows above the story, instead of being on it. (Though the download button simply doesn't show there, instead of just bugging out on top). 2) Different variation of a seemingly similar problem. For some people it shows like this: https://imgur.com/a/xYAxsAM Again, similar problem, but different button placement. And again it's a common thing for a few extensions. So it seems to be an Instagram problem. 3) Is it possible to retain the original Instagram filename by default while saving?
