Start a simple offline countdown timer in a clean popup. Remembers your last duration locally and never tracks you.
Focus Minutes – Simple Popup Timer helps you start a clean, distraction-free countdown in just one click. Use it as a lightweight focus timer, study session helper or quick reminder directly from your browser toolbar.
The timer runs entirely inside a small popup window. It does not modify any websites, does not require an internet connection, and does not collect or send any personal data. You simply choose the number of minutes, press Start, and watch the countdown. When the time is up, the popup lets you know so you can take a break or start another session.
What you can do
Start a simple countdown timer from your browser toolbar
Set any session length in minutes (for example, 25 minutes for a Pomodoro)
Pause or reset the timer with one click
See a clear, large time display and status label
Keep your last used duration so you don’t have to re-enter it every time
Privacy & data
Focus Minutes works offline and does not track your browsing. It does not read, change or interact with the content of the websites you visit. No accounts, analytics, ads or remote servers are used.
Permissions
storage – used only to remember your last chosen session length so that it appears automatically the next time you open the popup. All information is stored locally on your device and is never sent anywhere else.
Focus Minutes has a single purpose: to provide a clean, minimal countdown timer in a popup without affecting your tabs or collecting your data.

- I really liked your timer. Only problem: It should not insist to be kept open. Why? The philosophy of a timer's work is to tell me when my time is up, not to be a constant visually ticking timebomb. It should not distract me me from my work; it should stop me from working when my time is up. It can pop back up when its time is up. Fix this and I will re-install it.
