All detected images are automatically deduplicated by URL to ensure uniqueness of extracted resources.

USAGE GUIDE

PERMISSIONS USED AND JUSTIFICATIONS

• activeTab: Required to access the DOM of the active page and extract image metadata. The extension only reads content, without modification.

• downloads: Required to allow users to download selected images individually or in groups. No automatic downloads are performed without explicit user action.

• storage: Used to locally save scan results, improving performance on repeated analyses of the same page. All data remains on the user's device.

• host_permissions ['<all_urls>']: Required to allow image analysis on all web pages visited by the user. The extension does not modify pages, it only reads the DOM to extract image URLs. No data is transmitted to external servers.

All permissions are used exclusively for the described features. No data is collected, stored on external servers, or used for tracking or behavioral analysis purposes.
