Search Steam using the context menu
Search for games on Steam, SteamDB, or IsThereAnyDeal using the context menu in Google Chrome. PLEASE REPORT BUGS OR FEATURES REQUESTS ON GITHUB. I don't regularly check comments on the web store. https://github.com/Skylark95/chrome-steam-context-menu Recent changes: • Fix for isthereanydeal.com search. Use case: When viewing games from retailers other than Steam, select the game title text, right click and select "Search Steam". Helpful for when you want to check if you already own a game or want to view the game listing on Steam for reviews, price, screenshots, etc. Features: • Search selected text on Steam, SteamDB, or IsThereAnyDeal. • Change visible menus with the option to collapse the parent menu when only one option is selected. This extension goes well with the following extensions: • Enhanced Steam • Steam Database Disclaimer: I am not the author for either of the above extensions. Steam Context Menu and other extensions linked on this page are not affiliated with Valve, Steam, or any of their partners. - (2017-05-16, v:1.2.0) Open in Background
Normally when highlight text to search in Google or whatever search engine you use and you hold CTRL it opens the page next to the current tab without going to it, basically it opens the tab in the background It would be great if you could have such a feature too, its great when i want to look up a list of games on steam like when you buy a bundle on Humble Bundle.
- (2017-03-12, v:1.2.0) Charles Young: Combine with ES
Why not just submit commits/combine with Enhanced steam? The ES is author has declared he is open to doing this with the various steam helpers and ES is open.
