Snowveil: Snow Overlay & Ambient Sounds

Snowveil adds gentle, non-blocking visual overlays to any website—falling snow, blossoms, light rain, and soft dust—plus optional ambient sounds for a calmer browsing atmosphere.

Key features

Snow / Blossoms / Rain / Dust overlays (enable per site).
Visual Style presets: Off, Dark, or a soft Tint (light gray/blue/green/warm) with adjustable strength.
Ambient audio (one track at a time): Auto (follows the enabled effect) or Manual (pick one), with volume + loop.
Upload your own audio per effect (stored locally on your device).
Settings persist per site and can be turned off instantly.
Non-blocking by design

Overlays are rendered on a transparent layer that does not intercept clicks, scrolling, or text selection.
Privacy

Offline-only: no analytics, no tracking, no external network requests.
Your settings are stored locally. Uploaded audio stays local inside the extension.
If you open a donation link, your browser will navigate to a third-party website.
Notes

Some pages (e.g., chrome:// and the Chrome Web Store) don’t allow extensions to run.
Tabs already open before installing/updating may need a page reload.
