Query Fanout

🔴 HOW TO USE THIS EXTENSION 🔴

STEP 1: Go to https://chatgpt.com

STEP 2: Click the Query Fanouts extension icon to open the Side Panel.

STEP 3: Click the capture button to start recording.

STEP 4: In ChatGPT, type a question that triggers web search.

EXAMPLES:
• "search for best laptops 2025"
• "what are the latest iPhone 17 reviews"
• "current Bitcoin price today"
• "best restaurants in New York right now"
• "latest news about Tesla"
• "top rated Netflix shows this week"

STEP 5: Wait for ChatGPT to finish responding. The popup UI will update in real-time showing captured QUERIES, CITATIONS, and DOMAINS. Once it does the "View Full Report →" button will appear.

STEP 6: Click "View Full Report →". This opens a new tab on tryrankly.com.

STEP 7: On tryrankly.com you will see two options:
• "Skip for now (limited view)" = See report without email
• Enter email + click "View Report" = See full report

BOTH OPTIONS WORK. BOTH SHOW A REPORT.

⚠️ NOTE: If ChatGPT does not search the web, there is no data to capture.
