- The extension does work, but if for any reason the Substack homepage isn’t open — even if your profile is — the note won’t get published. But that’s not even why I gave it a 3, since that part is already explained. The real issue is that if the note doesn’t go through, the extension doesn’t show any error message, it just makes the note vanish and you lose everything you wrote.
