- (2023-07-17) Gave it a shot based on the singular good review. I created a crunchbase profile and learned it wont just find patents from any website e.g. you cant go find spacex patents via spacex, but only through the crunchbase website and searching for your desired company. This is when the extension was finally able to be used yet the famous loading screen phenomena was all I received. I checked several large companies just to test if it works at all and it did not. This could be a very powerful tool but more updates are clearly needed first. I wouldn't bother if you're hoping to try this extension in less than 6 months after this review was published, but beyond that you might have a shot because they have a solid setup that could be incredibly useful for obtaining patent information such as top inventors, recent tech and the like.
- (2022-06-27) R Salek: I saw a lot of negative reviews from 2019-2021. I tried it recently, and it does work. Note that you must be on the Crunchbase website and log in with your credentials for the extension to work correctly. The information is limited but suitable for a quick lookup!
- (2021-12-01) Warren: They know how to report IP just about as good as they know extensions/apps. Not at all. If sites and extensions like this exist, they should try, a little. Reporting one company's patent profile while not bothering on another is nuts. Don't bother with this POS.
