COBRA X is a radial tab manager that puts your most important tabs one gesture away.
HOW IT WORKS
Hold Alt + Right Click (Option + Right Click on Mac) to activate the wheel. Keep holding Alt to keep the wheel open. Your current tab appears in the center. Hover over a slot to interact. Release Alt to confirm your action and close the wheel. Releasing Alt on an empty area simply closes the wheel with no changes.
SLOT INTERACTION
You can assign any tab to a slot. If you close that tab, the URL it had before closing is saved on the slot.

Hover over an empty slot + Left Click → Assign your current tab to that slot
Hover over a TAB slot + Release Alt → Jump to that tab
Hover over a URL slot + Release Alt → Open the URL, assign the new tab to that slot, and jump to it
Right Click on a slot → Remove the tab from the wheel
Drag between slots → Swap their positions
Hover over a slot to reveal extend wedges:
— OPEN: Open a URL slot in the background and assign the new tab to that slot
— CLOSE: Close the tab but keep the URL saved on the slot

GUIDE MESSAGES
A guide message bar at the top of the wheel shows contextual hints as you hover, helping you learn the controls as you go.
PERSISTENT WHEEL
Your wheel is saved to local storage. Close and reopen your browser — all your slots and URLs are still there.
ACTION BUTTONS

UNDO — Restore your previous wheel arrangement (does not reopen closed tabs)
ISOLATE — Close all tabs except the ones on the wheel
OPEN ALL — Open all URL slots as TAB slots at once
CLOSE ALL TABS — Convert all TAB slots to URL slots (URLs are preserved)
CLEAR WHEEL — Remove all slots from the wheel entirely

KNOWN LIMITATIONS

The wheel does not work on Chrome internal pages (chrome://, chrome://extensions, Chrome Web Store, etc.) — this is a Chrome security restriction that applies to all extensions.
The wheel may not activate inside certain cross-origin iframes due to browser security policies. Simply click outside the iframe and try again.
If hardware acceleration is disabled in your browser, the wheel UI may feel slower due to backdrop blur effects running on CPU. You can check at chrome://gpu and enable it in chrome://settings → System.
