Math Input for Google Forms
Extension Actions
Insert and render mathematical notation in Google Forms responses using a WYSIWYG LaTeX editor.
Math for Google Forms lets students and teachers write mathematical expressions directly inside Google Forms answer fields — no copy-pasting from external tools required.
How it works
A small math button appears next to every answer field on Google Forms. Clicking it opens a visual equation editor where you can build expressions by clicking symbols or typing LaTeX. When you click Insert, the math is placed into the answer field and rendered beautifully in place.
Features
Visual WYSIWYG editor powered by MathQuill — no LaTeX knowledge required
Full LaTeX support for users who prefer to type directly
Symbol library covering Basic, Greek, Calculus, Sets & Logic, and Advanced symbols
One-click templates for common formulas (Quadratic, Pythagorean, Euler's identity, and more)
Multi-line math input for complex expressions
Renders math inside answer fields using KaTeX — fast and accurate
Works entirely offline — no data is sent anywhere
