Ano — QA Bug Reporting
Extension Actions
QA bug reporting on any page. Highlight, pin, draw, and record — export structured context for developers and AI.
Stop copying screenshots into Slack and writing long bug descriptions from memory. Ano lets you annotate any webpage directly in Chrome — highlight text, drop pins, draw freehand — then export everything as structured JSON that developers and AI tools can actually use.
*How it works*
Click the Ano icon to activate. Use the toolbar to switch between annotation tools:
- Highlight — select any text on the page to mark it
- Pin — drop a numbered marker anywhere on the page
- Draw — sketch directly on the page to circle or arrow-point a problem
- Session — record a timed walkthrough that captures all your annotations, actions, and page visits in one exportable bundle
When you're done, export a single JSON file with every annotation, its position, the page URL, and your comments — ready to paste into a bug tracker, hand to a developer, or feed to an AI for analysis.
*Why Ano*
Most bug reporting tools require a screenshot, a written description, and a lot of back-and-forth. Ano captures where the problem is, what you wrote or clicked, and how long it took — all in one step. No account required, no data leaves your browser.
Works on any page, including embedded app iframes. Open-source.
