JSTorrent is a BitTorrent client for Chrome that downloads torrent files with ease. It downloads directly to your folder of choice and handles large multi-gigabyte files without issue. Runs great on ARM Chromebooks.
STATUS BY PLATFORM:
- ChromeOS: Still works (for now)
- Windows/Mac/Linux: No longer works (Chrome disabled Apps on desktop)

- The app is very uneconomical with data. I was downloading a file whose size was only 679.5 MB and downloaded data went beyond 1.2GB. Not good for people who are charged data based on usage

- JSTorrent "just works" without any tweaking or messing about with settings, yet, has settings enough for an experienced torrent user. I recently moved to a Chromebook from Linux Mint. With Mint I used transmission torrent client and JSTorrent is equal to the task. So far no crashes, lost files, or weird quirks. Great work gang, I will pay for the unlimited version, well worth the few bucks.

- 1st time on chromebook and app seems to work well. Will definitely look at paid version after trial of 20 downloads completes. Some issue with line speeds compared to windows based app - have run the 2 in parallel and this app 's line speed jumps all over the place, but still on average works well!

- Easy and Compact. If you cant access to the administrator account of your PC and therefore cant install torrent downloader to download torrent, JS Torrent Lite is the solution.

- I was trying to find a web based bit torrent client to use on a restricted computer. JSTorrent does that and it's one of the best bt clients I've ever used. Everything just works, and there are no extra bs you don't need.

- Hi. first of all I should tell you all that this is an amazing piece of software. sadly in my country (Iran) we can't use any kind of payments for chrome extentions due to worldwide sanctions & local sanctions by internet providers.
