Security products by F-Secure require this browser extension to be able to protect your web browsing, online banking and shopping, and to show you security information while you are browsing the internet.
Browsing Protection is an extension that provides support for installed security products by F-Secure. The extension enables the Banking Protection functionality as well as rating icons and the SafeSearch mode for search engines. In addition, unwanted web content delivered can be handled with a block page.
To install the extension, select Add to Chrome > Add extension. If the extension is already installed but disabled, enable it.

- I am not experiencing any issues as others have reported. It works great in Safari and Chrome (using Spectrum Plug-In). I'm using MacOS Ventura 13.2a on my 2017 iMac i7

- It works but it installs EVERY time I close and open Chrome. All the pop ups and I don't know what to do to make it stay installed...ugh.

- Impossible to install: I can install the extension, but it never activates, and it disappears as soon as I restart my browser. Never occurred for any of the extension I tried in the past!

- This application creates restricted mode on Youtube. I had to go through so much troubleshooting yesterday, and came to this conclusion. Please fix your product as it is obviously lacking at that regard.

- I am not able to go to the VA website. I can't seem to make it work for me. anyone have any ideas on whet I can do to fix this or how to uninstall it?

- Works fine, but makes the browser a lot slower. I was about to change to Safari instead, before realizing that it was this plugin that made Chrome slower: It takes a few second anytome you search in google og open a new website. A lot quicker immiditely after deleting this extension.

- It still allows Bing to take over searches... which it does badly and I suspect is phishing. My desktop and documents have disappeared.

- I need to re-install this extension to Chrome every day. Every day I close my computer and restart the extension is gone. Don't know why it is happening, never happens with other extensions?

- Gives me an error message Computer is not protected and no solutions to address. Tried to reinstall to no avail.

- it didn't stop malware , i needed to remove that later with malwarebites anti malware program (for free) but the machine was already infected in my chrome browser.

- I have charter.net and F-Secure is the bundled Internet security product. The browser plugin that comes with the charter.net security suite isn't from the chrome app store so chrome won't run it even in developer mode. I found this link which brought me here https://community.f-secure.com/t5/Feature-Requests/Add-Browser-Protection-for/idi-p/5739 When I tried installing the plugin from this link it appeared to work, but the charter.net internet suite didn't recognize it as being installed. This plugin appears to get deinstalled every time I restart chrome. I'm not sure if that is because of the charter.net F-Secure suite or due to a licensing issue, but its worthless at this point.
