- I keep getting warnings on my computer from McAfee that my protection has expired and need to renew. My protection does not expire for 6 more months. However, I clicked on it thinking I may be mistaken and now it says I have a Trojan. I signed up to Norton again as this was worthless in detecting this fraud.

- Do not ever download this extension. I kept having my search engine changed to yahoo until i removed this and now its back to being google. After doing research i learned certain google extensions contain malware viruses that make changes to your pc. I reinstalled the app just to warn you guys to not use this ever.

- Ironic that the software supposedly helping you spot untrustworthy sites/links/content is so untrustworthy. The last straw for me was that this extension will consistently (secretly) set your default search engine to Yahoo secure search. No way to change that in preferences. GET OFF MY MACHINE

- This is a really great extension! I used to go on many websites on my old school chromebook which had no safety except for a website blocker. When I finally got a new computer (the one I'm typing this on) this came pre-installed onto my browser. I went on the same websites that I used to on my chromebook, and was shocked to find out that a lot of the websites I had went to had been really sketchy! It's able to detect unwanted stuff online really fast and alerts you immediately when that stuff is present on the site. I would highly recommend this extension. The only reason I have rated this 4 stars, though, is that sometimes, it keeps changing my search engine to Secure Search. Even after I change it manually back to Google, it still pops up as Secure Search later (usually only when my computer restarts). Other than that, this extension has been a really helpful boost in my cybersecurity 🙂👍!

- This extension repeatedly changed my default search engine and browser settings without clear consent, even after I manually reverted them. That behavior is indistinguishable from a browser hijacker. What made it worse is that after uninstalling it out of frustration, I wasn’t even allowed to leave a review. I had to reinstall an extension I actively disliked just to warn others. Software that overrides user choice and then makes feedback difficult is hostile UX at best and deceptive at worst. I will never use or recommend McAfee products again.
