- This app does not work. I get a window with the green logo in the centre. That is it. Nothing to click, no apparent key combinations that yield any setup options. It remains a window with a green logo in the centre. In that state, it is useless.
- Maximilian Hantsch (maexxx)
- Does not work. Just shows the loading screen (green logo) and never moves any further.

- Awesome...so easy to install and use I previously used Anyconnect/Workspace combo andusing Horizon was so much easier. Not by a lot since most Chrome OS software is pretty simple, but this was a better. The Chrome OS implementation of this product was huge, though, compared to the Android version (which was also great, same simplicity). I have to say, though, it was so simple to use that I can see where people might have gotten confused in its usage. Took a short time to figure out what the product was expecting me to do.

- Currently using Lenovo Chromebook Duet. this app won't even launch...

- Not currently working. Shows an 'invalid certificate' error. Older version of VMWare Horizon Client for Chrome shows no error; HTML Horizon client shows no certificate error. Just this verison of the Chrome Client.
- Vincent Meanie
- Throws an error that the supplied server cert is invalid. Chrome browser works fine and shows cert as valid. html client connects for auth with same cert from browser.
- Suman Layek
- What a joke VMWAre. This app does not work and I was so excited that it will from my Chromebook. -------------- The new iteration works great on ChromeOS. Works just like it should.

- On my Asus Chromebook C302CA I've tested this application, and after looking at the loading screen for a while, the screen starts flickering, and that's it. Shame, was looking forward to use this!

- Does nothing but plays another computer, I mean, Theres already a app for this! Make a workstation so I can try out MEMZ!

- Its not usable. How can I use this without ALT- Tab not working.

- I was a little bit disheartened after seeing the reviews but it actually works perfectly for me.

- This app has major issues. It barely works. There are frequent blank screens on connection even though the VM session is running fine, mouse recognition in the app is flaky, settings dont't stick, keyboard input doesn't get passed proprely to the VM. I don't know how an app this buggy could get released. This is bad considering chromebooks are marketed to corporate environments where such software could be mission critical.

- Terrible client implementation. Used the Horizon Client on Android, iOS, ThinOS, and Windows and this is the first one that has display issues. Logging into the virtual desktop sometimes gives blank/black screens. Disconnecting and immediately reconnecting usually will get it to display properly but this is a weak workaround for a client designed specifically to show a desktop. Doesn't do USB Passthrough of any kind, so Webcams or any other USB device is unusable on a Chromebox. Disappointed as their other implementations are a much better experience.
- Caleb Sellers
- Doesnt even open
- Michael Nye
- VMWare needs to come up with a solution to many common keys not being available to send to the Windows desktop. Delete doesn't work, and Alt-Bkspace (which works in Chrome itself) doesn't get passed through to Windows. Ctrl-W kills Horizon, instead of closing the document or tab within Windows. I can't figure out how to pass through Alt-Tab, either.
- Paige Pernell
- I can't print anything from the remote site so it's not very helpful for me. I'm using an ACER Chromebook.
- David Hood
- Its a great and useful app...when it works, mine hasn't for a couple months now. It opens and immediately crashes at the splash screen. Reinstall did not help. I hope a fix is inbound.
- Felipe Rico
- Overall, gets me into my works desktop. Originally had it installed on samsung chromebook 2 and now I installed it on a chromebook plus. On the chromebook plus the VMware Horizon client menus (display settings etc.) do not work with the touchpad but instead I need to use the tab button to toggle through the options. A little annoying and strange that it is happening on the chromebook plus when I did not have that problem on the chromebook 2.

- App Opens and then fails. System log records this error: ERROR:gl_factory_ozone.cc(149)] NOTREACHED() hit. [Reason: info:NOTREACHED()]. Client has worked fine for the last two weeks until now. Please fix.

- Doesn't work for me on Asus Flipbook
- Joseph Spillman
- it wont even open pls fix.

- First experience with the client was fine as we tested for our new VDI deployment a couple years back. Go to roll it out to Chromebook users and, surprise! a "select folder" window leaves us scratching our heads. Figure out we need to escape past it (don't remember exactly what we did) to continue. Think it's a cool idea to redirect the local folders but our environment is having issues with USB redirection in general. Fine. Just when we get our Horizon View environment updated to 7 to support USB redirection, I go to install the latest version of the Chromebook client and now drive redirection is not supported in the client. Doh! Get it together VMware.

- Does not launch in Chromebook. Please fix!
- Jennifer Disser
- Does not work. It installed and keeps closing on its own.
- Dmitry Antonov
- It works. But... VMware Virtual Webcam doesn't work. "Alt-Tab" keystroke doesn't work.
- Eron the Relentless
- Just opens a blank screen with their new logo in the center on my acer n15q9. No logical means of adding my view server address, basically brokenware.
- Glen Sutton
- It installed but I couldn't get it to work. It kept closing on its own
- Thomas Kotsines
- works great. Yes, selecting a folder at first start seems weird since it doesn't tell you what it is for. In my case, it is not used. Multiple monitors don't seem to work. The second monitor is always black. Multiple monitors also don't work on the VMWare Horizon Mac client. But they do work great in windows.
- Jan Edmarc Balallo
- I need VMware on this machine as well, but the only problem is that the app won't run. It successfully did get installed but after opening it and selecting a folder to store my virtual machine files, I couldn't open the app anymore. Anyone having this issue as well??? Help on this issue would be really nice :)
- Aaron Beddes
- Doesn't work for me, and it looks like it doesn't work for a lot of people. When I try to launch it, it opens a completely non-functional app window, and an explorer window. What the...???
- Zhi Carrie Li
- No idea why it is asking to select a folder, but works well after that.
- Michael Kuo
- Does not work on Toshiba Chromebook 2
- Asif Minhas
- Chromebook is fantastic. VMware Horizon Client is totally not working. I hope you guys will fix this.
